Mauro Ranallo Takes A Shot At WWE During MMA Event

Former SmackDown Live commentator Mauro Ranallo took a subtle shot at WWE while appearing on commentary for Rizin FF 5: Sakura in Yokohama, Japan.

Ranallo, who is at the center of bullying storm with JBL was introducing the Alpha Female to which he exclaimed, “Professional wrestler, and boy does it feel good to be able to use that term again, turned mixed martial artist, the Alpha Female Jazzy Gabert!”

WWE prohibits its announcers from referring to talent as "professional wrestler" and much rather they are referred to as "WWE Superstar." 

Ranallo is believed to be sitting out the rest of his WWE contract until it expires in August.
