WWE Smackdown Live Results (4/11)

Welcome to Night #2 of the WWE Superstar Shake Up. Welcome to Smackdown Live coming to us this week from Boston, Massachussetts. Last night, Raw gained 9 acquisitions to its roster. Tonight, it is Smackdown's turn up at bat as the Superstar Shake Up continues and we are about to shake things up as Smackdown's first draft moving over from Monday Night Raw is United States Champion Kevin Owens and a clean shaven Kevin Owens at that. Owens makes his way down to the ring

Owens welcomes everyone to the brand new Kevin Owens show and Smackdown just got an upgrade and he brought the United States Championship with him and says it's fitting the United States Championship is held by someone from Canada
But rest assured the title is in good hands and says Canada is better than the United States and has better athletes and the proof is the Montreal Canadiens beating the Boston Bruins

And if anyone has a problem he will beat the hell out of them because he is not here for the fans he is here for himself and is here to be the new face of America

Baron Corbin comes out and says he's sure Owens can beat up anyone in this arena and most of the people in the locker room but can't beat him. Last week, he beat Dean Ambrose so bad he left for Raw and last night Ambrose beat Owens so bad he tucked his tail between his legs and went to Smackdown

Corbin challenges Owens to a championship match and Owens calls him delusional not caring who he beat. Corbin doesn't deserve an opportunity at his title. The third draft moving over from Monday Night Raw makes his way out as The Underdog from The Underground, Sami Zayn comes out.

Owens is in disbelief saying it can't be real. Zayn says he's here to announce he's on Smackdown Live. Corbin tells Zayn no one cares. This brings out The Phenomenal One AJ Styles

The crowd is chanting for AJ Styles and Styles says this is not the Kevin Owens Show. This is Smackdown Live and it's not about The Underdog from The Underground and definitely not about The Lone Wolf. This is about AJ Styles. This is about Smackdown Live. The House That AJ Styles built and he's still here.

Smackdown GM Daniel Bryan comes out and says Kevin Owens' match at Payback still stands and the winner will become a permanent member of Smackdown Live but until after Payback the United States Championship will not be defended. However, tonight one of the three men in the ring will face Kevin Owens fpr the United Ststes Champion as it will be a triple threat match with AJ Styles vs Baron Corbin vs Sami Zayn

Backstage: Randy Orton is shown walking

Up Next: Randy Orton vs Erick Rowan

-Commercial 8:15pm-

ERICK ROWAN VS RANDY ORTON

Rowan backs Orton in the corner. Orton ducks a right hand taking it to Rowan and it's Orton with the punches in the corner. Orton off the ropes runs into a back elbow. Right hands and headbutts by Rowan. Rowan places Orton on the top rope and hooks him up.

Rowan looking for a suplex but it's blocked by The Viper who nailes a series of headbutts. Orton ducks a clothesline and connects with the powerslam. Orton with the Garvin Stomp on Rowan. Rowan to the outside gets sent shoulder first into the stairs as Orton side steps him.

Orton pulls Rowan through the middle ropes and drops him with the draping DDT. Orton setting up for the RKO but the lights go out and Bray Wyatt appears on the screen. He asks if Orton can smell the stench of fear and he knows their paths will cross again. He will see Orton again in the House Of Horror and begins laughing maniacally. The lights come back on and Rowan is on the outside.

Rowan drills Orton with the ring stairs as the referee calls for the bell. Rowan picks Orton up and drops Orton with the Full Nelson Slam

WWE SMACKDOWN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: THE USOS VS AMERICAN ALPHA

Jason Jordan starts things off for his team. American Alpha in control and it's Chad Gable with a suplex to JEy. Jimmy. Double dropkick by American Alpha and they send Jimmy flying over the top rope as Smackdown goes to break

-Commercial 8:33pm-

Back from break, The Usos are in control. Jey points at Gable as Jimmy keeps on top of Jordan. Jordan kicking Jimmy away as Gable looks for a tag and gets one. Gable unloads on the Usos delivering Suplex after suplex. Moonsault by Gable onto Jimmy. Jimmy is sent over the top rope and Jey ties Gable up in the ropes. Jimmy off the top rope and Gable with a roll up for a nearfall. Jordan picks Jimmy up on his shoulders as Gable delivers a bulldog from the top rope.

The Usos clear the ring and deliver double suicide dives to the outside. American Alpha back in control but The Usos take over as Jey connects with a superkick followed by the big splash off the top rope by Jimmy for the cover and the win

MOJO RAWLEY VS JINDER MAHAL

Mahal goes right after Rawley early on in the match but Rawley tries to mount a comeback but it's Mahal still in control as he connects with a knee. Kneedrop to Rawley and Mahal with a neck lock but Rawley picks up steam and begins unloading on Mahal.

Mahal spots Gronkowski in the crowd. Rawley from behind and Gronk throws his drink at Mahal. Back in the ring, Mahal gets drilled with the running elbow and Rawley covers Mahal for the three count to pick up the win

Up Next: Shane McMahon's State of The Women's Division on Smackdown

Shane McMahon comes out to the ring and says he may be a little bias butas far as competition no one does it better than Smackdown. He thanks all superstars who have moved to Raw and calls Smackdown Live the land of opportunity

Shane calls out the Smackdown Women's Division to come down to the ring to find out who Smackdown's newest acquisition will be.

Shane congratulates Naomi on becoming the Smackdown Women's Champion. James Ellsworth says Shane is wrong. Naomi is a horrible champion and the only reason people tune in is to see Carmellsworth. Shane steps between Carmella and Naomi before things can escalate and then proceeds to introduce the newest addition to the Smackdown Women's Champion and she is a 2nd Generation Superstar and her father is a hall of famer and welcomes Tamina to Smackdown. The crowd stars a "We Want Sasha" chant. Shane then announces the next acquisition, Charlotte.

We are back and we take a look at two of the newest addition to the Smackdown roster. Sin Cara and The Bulgarian Brute Rusev

In the ring Aiden English stands alone and begins to sing about how the spotlight is solely on him until he is interrupted by The Perfect 10 Tye Dillinger

TYE DILLINGER VS AIDEN ENGLISH

English goes to work on the arm and English with elbows and punches. Hard irish whip into the corner by English and a running uppercut to Dillinger.

English off the ropes misses with a fist drop and it's Dilinger with a comeback connecting with a forearm off the ropes. Dillinger stomps away at English and Dillinger picks English up for the Tye Breaker to pick up the victory

Vignette: Lana moving over from Raw to Smackdown

Dolph Ziggler is in the ring and says everyone's wondering who's going to Raw, who's coming to Smackdown but what about Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler says he's staying on Smackdown. The show he built and put on his back. He made Smackdown great for when all the Raw superstars move over bu what happens after all that is over? The only thing they'll be left with is Ziggler standing in the ring doing what he does best.....

But before he can continue, Shinsuke Nakamura comes out to the ring. The crowd starts chanting "Nakamura". Ziggler says clearly Nakamura is new and may not know who he is but that's understandable because Ziggler doesn't know him either and asks Nakamura who he thinks he is. And the crowd starts the "Nakamura" chants again. From chants of "Nakamura" the crowd starts singing his entrance theme

Nakamura takes the mic and introduces himself. Ziggler goes for a superkick but Nakamura grabs his leg and trips him. Nakamura tells him to come on but Ziggler leaves the ring.

Vignette: New Day moving to Smackdown Live

TRIPLE THREAT: AJ STYLES VS SAMI ZAYN VS BARON CORBIN

Zayn and Styles go after Corbin. Double suplex to the Lone Wolf but it's blocked by Corbin who effortlessly suplexes Zayn and Styles. Corbin with right hands to Zayn

Right hand to styles and Styles gets sent over the top ropes but skins the cat. Corbin with a clothesline sends him crashing to the floor. Zayn looks for an opening but Corbin looks to send him over the ropes but Corbin is sent out of the ring and double clothesline sends Corbin to the outside

It's now Styles and Zayn. Zayn with a side headlock and we get mixed chants of "AJ Styles/Sami Zayn" from the crowd. Irish whip by Styles and Zayn connects with a dropkick. Zayn off the ropes but Corbin pulls Zayn to the outside and sends Zayn into the steel ramp. Right hand to Styles. Zayn off the apron with a moonsault taking out Styles and Corbin as we go to commercial

-Commercial-

Corbin in control and Zayn trying to fight back but Corbin whips Zayn hard into the corner. Styles fighting out of the corner. Knee by Corbin keeping Styles in the corner. Zayn fighting back. Side slam by Corbin for a nearfall.

Corbin misses with a clothesline but connects with a big boot. Series of right hands to ZAyn. Styles with kicks and punches and a right hand floors Styles. Clothesline by Zayn to Corbin. Styles gets sent over the ropes to the floor.

Zayn witht he Exploder Suplex in the corner. Styles intercepts the Helluva Kick but Corbin lays Styles out with a clothesline. Corbin gets blindsided by Styles. Zayn with a Blue Thunder Bomb to Styles

Styles seated on the top turnbuckle and Zayn hooks Styles up for a superplex but Corbin back in hoists Zayn on his shoulders. Styles dives from the top rope missing with the phenomenal forearm. Corbin runs into a boot. Corbin with the Deep Six and the pin is broken up by Styles.

Corbin hits the post shoulder first. Kick to the head by Styles. 450 by Styles onto Corbin and Zayn at the last moment breaks up the pinfall.

Styles and Zayn trade punches. Corbin back in the match and Styles nailing clotheslines. Corbin's turn with clotheslines. Zayn with a pair of boots and Styles connects with the pele. Styles looking for the Styles Clash. Helluva Kick to Corbin. Opposite side, Phenomenal Forearm to Zayn for the three count and the victory

The winner of the match and #1 Contender to the United States Championship: AJ Styles
