AJ Lee Confirms CM Punk Made a Million Dollars in UFC Debut

AJ Lee continues her media rounds to promote her new book Crazy Is My Superpower: How I Triumphed by Breaking Bones, Breaking Hearts and Breaking the Rules. On April 5th she stopped by Jim Norton and Sam Robert's, Jim and Sam Show on SiriusXM, and talked about many things, as you can view in the video below, most notably was CM Punk's UFC payday. Unless you've been under a rock, you will recall that CM Punk finally made his long awaited UFC debut in September of 2016, in which he lost the Mickey Gall in the first round. 

The original disclosed purse amount by Mickey Gall at a press conference for Punk was around $500,000. However, that did not include that PPV revenue cut. AJ says that it was more than that. Like double that amount! "I don't think it hurt that for one night of working you get paid a million dollars." "He was pretty psyched about that."
