Katsuyori Shibata Undergoes Surgery After Suffering A Subdural Hematoma

As seen during last night's NJPW’s Sakura Genesis, Katsuyori Shibata suffered an injury in a match against Kazuchika Okada during the main event. The injury occurred when Shibata hit Okada with a stiff headbutt. 

Shibata started to bleed from the head and there were reports that Shibata passed out after the match backstage. Shibata was taken to the hospital and diagnosed with a subdural hematoma. Surgery was successfully performed.
