As we reported before WrestleMania, NXT Star Shinsuke Nakamura is to be called up to the main WWE roster soon.
Bryan Alvarez reported on today's Wrestling Observer Live that Nakamura is expected to debut with the SmackDown Live brand. Prior to Mania there was a report by Wrestling Observer Newsletter which noted that Vince McMahon was high on Nakamura and wanted him on the Raw brand, as that's where big stars are established but Triple H felt Nakamura would work better on SmackDown Live.
It would appear, Triple H won the argument and Nakamura will be called up to replace John Cena, who will be taking a lot more time out to work on other projects and establish himself in Hollywood.
It's entirely possible Nakamura could make his debut on this week's SmackDown Live.
