As previously reported, tonight's WWE SmackDown Live will broadcast from Pittsburgh's PPG Paints Arena. On tap for tonight's show, will be the build toward the expected AJ Styles vs. Shane McMahon match at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando.
Interestingly, soon to be WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle was seen spotted entering the arena by fans waiting outside for Superstars to arrive. Angle is local to Pittsburgh, so it may not come as a surprise that he is paying a visit.
He was also staple of the SmackDown brand in the early to mid 2000's, so it makes sense that he's backstage on the blue brand but will he make a surprise appearance?. .. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
My bet is he is there for further WWE 24 filming, we posted footage yesterday of Kurt Angle recently meeting with Vince McMahon in WWE headquarters for the first time in eleven years. This will air on a future edition of WWE 24 on the WWE Network.
