Why Big Show vs. Shaq Isn't Happening At WM33, Update on Erick Rowan, More EVOLVE 81 Matches Announced

Big Show vs. Shaq Nixed

During last night's WWE Raw is was announced that The Big Show will be participating in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania. This pretty much indicates that Big Show's planned match against NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal will not be happening.

Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Radio noted that the possible reason Shaq pulled out of the match was due to the money WWE offered him. Shaq felt it wasn't worth his time or trouble.

Update on Erick Rowan

Erick Rowan is scheduled to be at tonight's WWE SmackDown tapings. Rowan has been cleared to wrestle following recovery from a torn rotator cuff in the fall of 2016. Rowan has been working at the WWE Performance Center to work off his ring rust of late.  It's unknown at this stage if he will be appearing on tonight's SmackDown television broadcast.
