Tom Phillips Replaced On WWE Fastlane Kickoff Show

For those who may have missed Sunday night's WWE Fastlane Kickoff Show on the WWE Network, announcer Tom Phillips, who normally hosts the "Social Media Lounge" at pay-per-view events, was replaced in this backstage segment by Charly Caruso.

No reason for Phillips's replacement was given; however, it is widely assumed that it was done so due to news breaking late last month involving a woman claiming that Phillips was involved in an affair after the woman posted a photo to Instagram allegedly showing a sexually explicit conversation between her and Phillips.

On the Fastlane Kickoff Show, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T also appeared reference the situation involving Phillips when he asked Caruso where "the dirty bird" was as Caruso was being introduced back in the "Social Media Lounge." Caruso responded by saying that Phillips had "graciously stepped aside" in order to allow her to take over as the host for the segment.
