Former WWE/TNA star MVP recently spoke with the Miami Herald while he was attending a Brain Buster Pro event.
When he had been about how he was able to keep the “MVP” character after leaving WWE, he gave credit to WWE for allowing him to keep the ownership of the persona. He noted that they worked out a deal where they could still use it, but they understood that it’s his intellectual property. He noted that he’ll always be grateful for that because WWE didn’t have to do that. He added that he would have gone along with whatever deal they offered him, but noted that they took care of him.
