Chavo Guerrero Sr. Passes Away Aged 68

It is with great sadness we report the legendary Chavo Guerrero Sr. has passed away at the age of 68 from cancer. He is the brother of Eddie Guerrero and father of Chavo Guerrero Jr.

During his early career he worked for the likes of NWA and AWA. Guerrero became the oldest WWE Cruiserweight Champion when he joined WWE in 2004. He was recently featured on Lucha Underground talking to Rey Mysterio before his match with Chavo Guerrero Jr. 

We send out our deepest condolences to the Guerrero family and friends.

 

Today the world lost a true rebel. He did things "HIS" way. Not always right, not always wrong, but He always followed what he believed in. He was diagnosed with Liver Cancer in early January of this year. As believer in Christ Jesus, he is now in Paradise. Today is a Sad day in the Guerrero Family.
