John Cena Makes History at Royal Rumble, Now 16-Time World Champion

The legendary John Cena has just defeated "The Phenomenal" A.J. Styles to capture his 16th WWE World Championship. John Cena now ties "Nature Boy" Ric Flair as a 16-time World Heavyweight Wrestling Champion. Ric Flair was a two-time WWE Champion, an eight-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion, and a six-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion. John Cena has held WWE's main World Title, the WWE Championship, on 13 occasions now. He also held WWE's version of the (former WCW) World Heavyweight Championship on three occasions.
