Jerry Lawler spoke to the Cerrito Live podcast over the weekend, and he revealed he had signed a new deal with WWE for another year. The topic was brought up when he had been asked about his return to SmackDown last week.
He was removed from WWE programming recently, and Lawler revealed during an interview with Cerrito Live back in December that his contract with the company was up in January. This is obviously the reason why WWE revisited his status and signed him to a new deal.
On what he will be doing for the company, Lawler told the podcast that everything is open and pointed out WWE is a very spontaneous company. Jerry Lawler has entered a feud with Dolph Ziggler, and it seems he will more involved with that come Sunday.
