SPOILERS: Tonight’s WWE NXT Results (1/18)

Posted By: Ben Kerin on Jan 18, 2017

WWE taped tonight’s edition of NXT on Thursday, January 5th, 2017, from Winter Park, FL at the Full Sail University.

- Singles Match: Nikki Cross defeated Kennadi Brink.

- Singles Match: Roderick Strong defeated Steve Cutler. Post-match, Strong cut a promo about not caring what Andrade Almas had to say about him. He is just focused on the NXT Championship.

- Tye Dillinger comes out and cuts a promo about how his 2016 ended. He said that he doesn’t know if he has it anymore and questions if he is still a Perfect 10. This led to Sanity walking out. Eric Young said that Dillinger never had it, but he could have everything with some guidance and the right choices. Alexander Wolfe offers Dillinger the Sanity jacket and Tye takes it and throws it down. Young wants to make sure Dillinger is really clear and said that he is not asking him to join them, he’s telling him. Tye shows ten fingers to Young and lays him out. This led to Damo coming out of the crowd and spearing Dillinger. Damo hit a One Winged Angel on Dillinger. Damo then accepts the jacket from Young and joins Sanity.

- Singles Match: Ember Moon defeated Liv Morgan.

- William Regal brought out Shinsuke Nakamura and Bobby Roode for their contract signing to make their NXT Championship match at NXT Takeover: San Antonio official. Roode downplays Nakamura’s career accomplishments. Roode said that from the first time he saw Nakamura in NXT he thought Nakamura had a catchy theme song. Nakamura said that he likes Roode because he looks like a Shiba Inu.
