Bruce Prichard Reveals Why WWE Dropped King Of The Ring As A Pay-Per-View Event

Bruce Prichard recently revealed on episode 22 of his “Something to Wrestle With” podcast that the reason the King of the Ring PPV was canceled was because Vince McMahon didn’t like it and that it was probably WWE’s lowest sales pay per view of the year.

“The pay per views events during the summer didn’t do all that well, and King of the Ring wasn’t a large grossing pay per view, so Vince wasn’t really excited about it, and decided to change it up.”

The Texas Rattlesnake shows no remorse for his brutal defeat of Jake "The Snake" Roberts during the King of the Ring tournament finals.
