Ryback In The Royal Rumble???

5 Star Wrestling, the UK promotion that this time last year hosted an all time, dream match up, between AJ Styles and Rey Mysterio, made an interesting change to the promotion's star-studded lineup in Dundee later this month.  

"ANNOUNCEMENT! RYBACK OUT, REY MYSTERIO IN!

Sadly Ryback will not be at the show in Dundee but we have one helluva replacement! The Greatest Lucha Libre star OF ALL TIME: Former WWE Champion, REY MYSTERIO will be in action on January 28th at the Dundee Ice Arena!

Rey Mysterio has headlined some of the biggest events in history and in 2016, he made his 5 Star debut against none other than Jay Lethal. Mysterio followed that up with a historic dream match against current WWE Champion: AJ Styles, then went on to tangle with some of the greatest British stars on the circuit today including Jimmy Havoc, Nick Aldis and Marty Scurll, all in a 5 Star Wrestling ring. Now Rey Mysterio is set to challenge John Morrison for the 5 Star Championship at the Dundee Ice Arena in 3 weeks time!

"We would love to have brought Ryback to Dundee and are still working towards making that happen but at this point, it doesn't look likely... HOWEVER, we promised that we would deliver the biggest show in Dundee history and we meant it. Rey Mysterio is one of the most beloved superstars on the planet and we are proud to be bringing him to Dundee in 3 weeks time along with a world class roster."

What makes this interesting, is that the show Ryback was scheduled to appear on, takes place the night before the Royal Rumble. Could Ryback have pulled out of the 5 Star show to make his return to the WWE? Does the 5 Star card, also rule out returns for John Morrison, Carlito and other top tier talent like Drew Galloway.
