WWE is reportedly planning to induct the late “Ravishing” Rick Rude into the 2017 WWE Hall of Fame class in Orlando, Flordia, according to PWInsider.com. His induction will be seen as long overdue for many of his loyal fans.
Rude passed away in April 1999 having worked for many promotions, including World Championship Wrestling, World Wrestling Federation and Extreme Championship Wrestling. He held the WWE Intercontinental Title and the WCW United States Heavyweight Title.Â
Rude retired from the ring in 1994 due to back injuries.
Diamond Dallas Page is the only other name also confirmed at this stage for the 2017 Hall of Fame class.
