Viewership For The First WWE SmackDown Episode of 2017

This week's episode of WWE SmackDown drew 2.596 million viewers which was down on last week's 2.885 million viewers. Last week was the first time in the "new era" that SmackDown beat Raw is viewership.

The first show of 2017 saw Dean Ambrose taking the WWE Intercontinental Title from The Miz in the main event.

In comparison, Monday's RAW averaged 3.046 million viewers, up from last week's 2.855 million viewers.
