WWE Universal Championship Match Announced For 2017 Royal Rumble

On Monday night's edition of WWE Raw, General Manager Mick Foley announced that Kevin Owens will defend the WWE Universal Championship against United States Champion Roman Reigns at the 2017 Royal Rumble event in San Antonio, Texas in a rematch from this past Sunday night's Raw-exclusive Roadblock: End of the Line event.

Foley also added a special stipulation to the match, which would be that Chris Jericho would be suspended above the ring in a shark cage in order to prevent him from interfering in the match on Owens' behalf.
