John Pollock of The Fight Network is reporting that Fight Network parent company Anthem Sports & Entertainment has had talks with TNA co-founder Jeff Jarrett. Jeff Jarrett does not have a new role with TNA and he's not serving in any kind of advisor role but they are having discussions, which are being described as "background information" for Anthem as they prepare to oversee the revival of the TNA brand.
Jarrett left TNA three years ago and remained an investor until last year when he made his final appearance on TV for the company and was inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame. Yet again, Jarrett does not have a role with TNA right now.
PWInsider is saying that the discussions began on December 5th. Jarrett been meeting and talking to Anthem Sports own Ed Nordholm, who is overseeing TNA's day-to-day operations. Apparently the meeting was "in secret" to have "exploratory discussions". Jarrett hasn't been seen in TNA offices in Nashville. Nordholm just wanted to meet with Jarrett to get some background on TNA and learn about different aspects of how the company operated over the various time periods
