Former WWE Women's Champion Mickie James Signs Multi-Year WWE Deal

We reported last week that WWE had offered Former WWE Women's Champion Mickie James a contract to return to the company after officials were impressed with her recent NXT TakeOver match against Asuka.

It now appears James has signed a multi-year contract with the company and will be assigned to the WWE SmackDown Live brand starting in January, according to PWInsider. Triple H was always keen to bring James back although it was ultimately down to her to decide if she wanted to return to the road full-time at 37.
