Former WWE CEO Linda McMahon is to be appointed by Donald Trump's administration as Small Business Administration, in a report revealed exclusively by Reuters on Wednesday.
McMahon, Co-Founded WWE with her Husband and WWE CEO and Chairman Vince McMahon who happens to be a close personal friend and business partner of the couple.
Linda unsuccessfully for a U.S. Senate seat in Connecticut in 2010 but has strongly supported Trump's bid to become President, in which her and Vince donated $6 million to the campaign.
Trump had the following to say on Linda:
"Linda has a tremendous background and is widely recognized as one of the country’s top female executives advising businesses around the globe," Trump said in the announcement.
McMahon has the following to say on her appointment:
"I am honored and humbled to be appointed by President-Elect Trump to serve as head of the U.S. Small Business Administration. As an entrepreneur myself, I have shared the experiences of our nation's small business owners and will do my best to advocate on their behalf."
