Backstage NJPW News: Michael Elgin's Injury, Concern Over Wrestle Kingdom Ticket Sales

NJPW standout "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin just recently had surgery to repair a broken orbital bone that he suffered on October 10. He flew back home on the 21st and is currently recovering. His eye was still swollen shut when he arrived home, and his hip is sore as well due to the fact that his doctors used a bone graft from his hip to repair his orbital bone.

There is some concern backstage in NJPW over the 2017 Wrestle Kingdom ticket sales, which are currently available at various price ranges. One reason for concern is the fact that the show will be taking place on a Wednesday this year. It's a tradition that the show always takes place on January 4, no matter what day of the week it falls on.
