According to Pro Wresting Sheet, Billy Corgan has now made claims he’s seen evidence that the company was in discussions with WWE about a possible sale. Corgan said he wasn't told about Dixie Carter's discussions with WWE the other day.
In some more newly unsealed documents, Billy claims he reached out to Dean Broadhead to ask about the rumors of the company being sold, and on September 26th the TNA exec assured him that they were not true.
Corgan says that the defendant’s production documents are showing that Dean sent a WWE rep “certain due diligence materials that WWE had requested” just one day before he denied the rumors.
Further more, he has claimed to have seen an email that was from Dixie that minimized his role “When WWE raised issues relating to Corgan’s note in the course of their negotiations, Mrs. Salinas (Dixie) wrote: ‘I intend to pay the loan back in full plus interest prior to selling the company.'” , Billy also says a set of Impact Wrestling tapings scheduled for next month were postponed due to company’s lack of funds.
