WWE Raw General Manager Mick Foley is unable to attend next month’s ICW Fear & Loathing IX show which is set to happen on 11/20 at The SSE Hydro. The good news is that the former WWE Universal Champion will be making a one and done appearance as Foley’s replacement.
Balor is set to be the "special enforcer" for the night. Last year's show was the biggest selling one yet for ICW in British history since Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks in the early 80's era of pro wrestling.
The reasoning as to why Foley was originally able to be booked for the show is because he is not under a full-time talent contract. People like Foley, Booker T, Jerry Lawler and a few other names are allowed to take bookings on the independents. The deal to get Balor as a replacement was approved by WWE as a make-good because Foley is needed for the Survivor Series in Toronto.
