Rumor Killer: Goldberg Will Not Be At WWE Clash Of Champions Sunday

Rumors are running about that Bill Goldberg, who was a former WWE superstar, will appear at WWE's Clash of Champions PPV Sunday night. That's not the case at all. Goldberg was doing an interview with the Submission Radio podcast and went on to state that his scheduled appearance this Sunday was purely a coincidence and NO DEAL has been made with WWE.

 Dave Meltzer had noted in this week’s Wrestling Observer newsletter Goldberg was supposed to tape a podcast there with Eric Bischoff but the deal fell through.  He is not going to come into Indianapolis Sunday.

  Although he's still open to working with WWE, and he said that the past issues with them are now "water under the bridge". Goldberg gave the standard line regarding Brock Lesnar... Brock knows where to find him.

While he hasn’t been contacted by anyone in WWE, he added, “But hey, I could get a phone call between now and then. You never know.”
