WWE Smackdown! Live results (20/09) *LIVE COVERAGE*

Hey guys,

I am back once more with the play-by-play of Smackdown! Live show and end with my analysis.

Smackdown! Live

The show starts with a video package of last week's even leading to the main event to Smackdown! 's second PPV, No Mercy. Then we go to the ring where Daniel Bryan is already in the ring, with a table and announces a contract signing for the Smackdown! Women's Championship match. He announces their Women's champion, Becky Lynch. Once she is in, Daniel says that they will remain civil. He calls out Alexa Bliss. They recap how she won the fatal 5 way to become the Number one contender.

Alexa starts off by making fun of Becky Lynch, saying she should moisturize. Becky says she here to fight, not go into a beauty pageant. Alexa tels her she is the type to ends up failing miserably and tends to never get to the top. She tells her she was not born to be a champion. Becky says she is right. She was not born to be a champion, but she believed in herself and worked hard to become champion. "I was not born to be a champion, I fought to be a champion!". Alexa calls her a "One Hit Wonder". She throws Becky down, signs the contract, and throws the contract and the table onto Becky. Alexa goes to leave, but Becky tails her and shows her why she is champion. She goes back to the ring, signs her contract, takes her title and leaves the ring. The match is set for No Mercy in two weeks.

**FINAL ANALYSIS**

A decent show this week. A pretty good main event, that granted, was shorter than I expected. The match ended at 9:54pm EST, ao there could have been more room for this match. Even with the AJ attack and Daniel's announcement, there was a good 3 minutes of Dean posing to the crowd before the show ended. Let's go with the Wins and Fails of the show.

3 Wins:

- Dolph Ziggler and The Miz match: Awesome match. It was better than at Backlash. The ending was disappointing since it was once again, not a clean win, but there could have been another way of ending it.
- Apollo Crews: For a while, Apollo hasn't been that popular because he is a bit too clean cut. However, this week, he had some intensity and I liked it. He needs a good push though.
- AJ Styles. We did not get to see much of him this week but what we saw was awesome. That Phenomenal Forearm out of the crowd was just shocking.

3 Fails:

- The women's match: Or lack there of. 20 seconds.
- John Cena. Since his return, he hasn't been impressive. Not much time in the ring, or on the mic.
- Miz and Daniel Bryan tease: They are teasing it, but Daniel won't fight again. Let's not make us hope he is.
