We did note that last week WWE has been rumored to bid on TNA to purchase them. Dave Meltzer from The Wrestling Observer Radio has said that the bid is in fact a real offer coming from WWE. It also sounds as if this is not a recent offer at all either.
WWE may just get the tape library, and close down the actual company like with WCW. Billy Corgan, the current TNA President, has already put in more money to get 30% ownership than WWE is willing to offer to get the entire package.
As far as the sale of TNA goes, Dave Meltzer says it's between Corgan and a second party he's possibly interested in. There's just tons of NDAs in regards to this second party. It's not Aroluxe who is the second party due to the fact they have a stake in TBA along with Dixie Carter and Billy Corgan himself.
Billy Corgan is hoping to have a deal done on TNA ownership in time for Bound For Glory on October 2nd.
