On Tuesday night's edition of WWE SmackDown Live, Commissioner Shane McMahon announced that AJ Styles will defend the WWE World Championship against Dean Ambrose and John Cena in a Triple Threat Match at the upcoming WWE No Mercy event, which will be the next SmackDown-exclusive pay-per-view.

No Mercy will air live on the WWE Network from the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California on October 9th.
