As previously reported, it was announced on Monday night's edition of WWE Raw that Kevin Owens will defend the WWE Universal Championship against Seth Rollins at this month's Clash of Champions event, which will take place on Sunday, September 25th and will air live on the WWE Network from Indianapolis, Indiana.
There is now a potential spoiler regarding this event thanks to local advertisements currently airing in Cincinnati, Ohio, which is where the post-Clash of Champions edition of Raw will be taking place at the U.S. Bank Arena the following night. One the matches that is being advertised features Owens vs. Rollins for the WWE Universal Championship, with the advertisements listing Owens as the champion.
This currently indicates that, unless plans change between now and September 25th, Owens will retain the title against Rollins at Clash of Champions.
