On Off The Top Rope, Jonathan Coachman had the chance to sit down and interview Daniel Bryan about how retirement is going, how he's been handling it, and many other things.
Bryan says it has been extremely tough on him since retirement, and to expect to see all the aftermath on Total Bellas. He also stated he does love being around the WWE, because he gets to still see his friends and gets to see action going on in the ring. Coach asks him what the hard part is about retirement and what he should be focusing on since Bryan has been wrestling for most of his life. Daniel does admit it's been really tough having to just sit there and watch matches without being able to step in the ring. He then recalls getting frustrated and threatening to just quit the WWE to work the indie circuit again. Brie does her best to get him calmed down, and they wish to try to now start a family together to hopefully change focus to that.
He's also noted on how he has been trying to convince people he wants to wrestle again, but goes on to say the hardest part is convincing himself to do it. As noted before many times, Bryan was cleared by many doctors on his concussion note besides one which raised a flag. Bryan says the more he learns about the test, the more that should not have stopped him in anyway. Daniel says there's a lot more than we realize, but he he feels ready to go, and feels like he can wrestle yet again.
