Quick Results From Tonight's WWE Cruiserweight Classic

Below are quick results from tonight's edition of the WWE Cruiserweight Classic on the WWE Network, which began the quarterfinals of the tournament:

--Gran Metalik defeated Akira Tozawa. He will advance to face the winner of the quarterfinal match between Zack Sabre, Jr. and Noam Dar.

--Kota Ibushi defeated Brian Kendrick. He will advance to face the winner of the quarterfinal match between TJ Perkins and Rich Swann. Following the match and Ibushi's exit from the ring, Kendrick was in tears, prompting Daniel Bryan to leave the commentary booth and head to the ring, where the two hugged. Bryan raised Kendrick's hand in the air as the show ended with the crowd chanting "Thank You Brian!"
