Smackdown Live comes to us this week from the American Airlines Centre in Dallas, Texas and we kick things off with Miz and Maryse coming out to the ring

Miz tells the fans not to dare boo him after being pushed aside week after week by the General Manager and Commissioner. 148 Days it took to get everyone's attention for a prestigious title that was once prestigious but is now tarnished by quitters

Miz says he's smarter and finds a way not to get hit. Miz says the people don't see the big picture. They don't see what goes on backstage. They call him when they need a spokesperson, commercial, movie. He does it all day in and day out never getting injured but everyone thinks he's unworthy because he didn't spend his first 12 years wrestling in bingo halls

When fans dub him unworthy it makes all of them cowards. Miz goes to continue but is interrupted by Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler says Miz makes a lot of great points but there's a reason the people don't get behind him. They see through everything he does. They live the business and go above and beyond but all Miz wants is to be famous which is why no one will ever believe in him.

They see through the facade. He just wants to walk the red carpet, hold up a title and be famous and every week he has a chance to prove he can change that yet he doesn't. Miz wants to talk about opportunities and if he wants to prove to everyone he's not a coward then do it right now. No titles, no referees, no bell. Ziggler and Miz. Ziggler's giving him a chance to prove he's not a coward.

Ziggler is ready but Miz and Maryse exit the ring. Ziggler says everyone was right he's nothing about a soft safe coward. Miz turns around ready to run back into the ring but Maryse stops him saying Ziggler doesn't deserve it.

Wyatt says that's the Randy Orton he wanted to see. He's covered in scars but still isn't afraid and admires that. But Orton is no longer the predator. Orton is damaged and weak and Wyatt is the predator now. What a predator does best is kill and at Backlash he will cut off the serpent's head and place it on his mantle

Orton says he's played that game with many people over the years and is still standing. The scars Wyatt needs to concern himself with are not the scars Orton's suffered on the outside but the scars within. The demons. Wyatt wants Orton at Backlash? He's got it.
