As previously reported, Eva Marie is one of three current WWE talent who have been suspended by the company for a period of 30 days as a result of her first violation of the company's Wellness Policy. The other two are Alberto Del Rio and Paige, who were also suspended for the same reason.
In the latest update regarding this story, it is being reported by multiple sources that WWE first discovered that Eva violated their Wellness Policy on Wednesday, one day after her most recent appearance on SmackDown Live.
It is also being reported that while it has been heavily rumored that WWE waited for a period of time before going public with Roman Reigns's Wellness Policy violation as a way to potentially get everything in order regarding his character, the company obviously did not take that same route with Eva, given the fact that it was announced on Tuesday night's edition of SmackDown Live that Eva would be teaming with Natalya and Alexa Bliss to face Becky Lynch, Carmella, and Naomi in a Six-Woman Tag Team Match at this coming Sunday night's SummerSlam event. As of this report, WWE has made no announcement regarding any potential changes that may be made to that match or even if it will be canceled altogether.
