Shane McMahon, who on this past Monday night's edition of WWE Raw was appointed by his father, Vince McMahon, to be the new Commissioner of SmackDown, announced via his official Twitter page on Tuesday that he has chosen an individual to serve as his show's General Manager, and that this individual has agreed to terms to serve the post beginning next week. Shane also announced that he will reveal the identity of his choice on next Monday night's Raw, which is when Shane's sister, Stephanie McMahon, Raw's Commissioner, is expected to reveal her choice as Raw's General Manager as well.
Below is Shane's post:
I'm very excited to announce that terms were agreed to today with the new SmackDown GM. The person will be revealed live this Monday on Raw.

As previously reported, it has been widely speculated that former WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan may be named as the new SmackDown General Manager ever since WWE posted a headline following this week's Raw stating that "the Yes! Movement had taken over SmackDown Live." That headline has since been removed; however, it should be stressed that it has, in no way, been confirmed that Bryan will have any kind of involvement with the show as of yet.
