The Twitter accounts that were originally believed to belong to WWE Hall of Famer Bobby "The Brain" Heenan and his wife, Cynthia Heenan, have been officially removed from the website after both accounts were confirmed to be fake.
Adam Stephen Kelley, a fan who initially helped to verify the accounts that were since proven to be fake, had reported via his own Twitter page that he was working with friends of the Heenan family in order to have both of the fake accounts suspended by the website.
Kelley also stated that he was working to have Twitter remove the "blue check" from the accounts, which the website normally places on accounts that have been verified as belonging to actual celebrities. Furthermore, he also stated that he was "duped" by those within WWE who were promoting that was believed to be Bobby Heenan's account.
Kelley also made it clear that he is in no way connected to the individual who created the fake accounts.
Below are Kelley's posts regarding the matter:
@TheGeneOkerlund I had the account verified. I got totally duped by all the WWE guys promoting it. I'm having Twitter remove blue check.

To confirm, I am not connected to imposter Bobby in ANY way. I'm just a guy with Twitter's ear who got duped. @davemeltzerWON @ryansatin

I fucked up, sorry. I'm going to get @RealBobbyHeenan's blue check removed and hopefully banned. Please don't ask me about verification.
