Both WWE.com and Ticketmaster.com are no longer listing this year's NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn event for SummerSlam weekend in Brooklyn, New York; however, the Barclays Center currently still lists that the event is taking place, as well as SummerSlam itself and the post-SummerSlam edition of WWE Raw.

This move is leading to speculation that the recent move to change the name of the next NXT TakeOver event from "TakeOver: Revenge" to "TakeOver: The End" could either mean the end of the feud between Samoa Joe and Finn Balor or the end of either the TakeOver specials or the NXT brand itself, though it should be stressed that neither has been officially confirmed.
