WWE NXT star Murphy, according to multiple sources, reportedly suffered an injury during Friday night's NXT live event in Cocoa Beach, Florida.

The injury is said to have taken place after Murphy took a "nasty-looking" knee strike and superkick from Tye Dillinger, who immediately pinned Murphy. Murphy was then said to be slow to get back to his feet, which caused WWE doctors to rush to the ring to check him over following the match.

Murphy, however, was able to walk back to the backstage area under his own power and received an ovation from the live crowd.
