The Wrestling Observer is reporting that there has been virtually no contact between WWE and Ryback ever since he was sent home by Vince McMahon following a recent SmackDown television taping as the two tried to negotiate a new deal. There are many sources who report that the general feeling is that WWE will likely either have Ryback sit out the remainder of his contract or simply release him.
The report further states that the demands made by Ryback "were a significant;y higher guarantee than he was offered." Furthermore, one of the many stipulations that he named was said to be a "deal breaker" that McMahon would likely never have agreed to, though no further information was provided regarding this.
If the current relationship between WWE and Ryback ends, then Ryback will be free to work elsewhere if he chooses to. The Wrestling Observer further states that "it wouldn't surprise anyone to see an announcement that he's released at any time."
