Rumors Abound Regarding Lilian Garcia's WWE Status

There are currently multiple rumors abound regarding the status of WWE ring announcer Lilian Garcia. Garcia herself posted on her official Twitter page on May 6th that she had been off of both Payback and this past Monday night's edition of Raw dealing with a family emergency, but hoped to be back next week.

However, former WWE writer Court Bauer noted on the most recent edition of MLW Radio that Garcia was actually "quietly let go" from WWE last week. Bauer was then informed of Garcia's tweet, but claimed that he was able to confirm her release with someone who works for the company right before his podcast was recorded. Furthermore, Bauer and other sources also noted that it may also be possible that the company may not be renewing Garcia's current deal or that Garcia herself may have chosen to not renew her deal.

Despite these multiple reports, WWE has yet to issue any kind of an official statement regarding Garcia's current status with the company.
