WWE Release Mascot El Torito

In addition to the release of Alex Riley, Hornswoggle and Zeb Colter, WWE have also released El Torito. 

El Torito made his debut with WWE on the September 30, episode of Raw, as the mascot of Los Matadores. Following the end of the stable as a trio in September 2015, El Torito mainly just appeared in backstage comedy segments, before not appearing on TV any longer.

Below is the official WWE statement on the releases:

"WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Superstars Hornswoggle, Alex Riley, El Torito and Zeb Colter as of today, Friday, May 6, 2016. WWE wishes them the best in all of their future endeavors."

It's not a good day for the small men of WWE!
