WWE Release Controversial Manager Zeb Colter

In addition to the release of Alex Riley and Hornswoggle, WWE have also released manager Zeb Colter (Dutch Mantel).

Below is the official WWE statement on the releases:

"WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Superstars Hornswoggle, Alex Riley and Zeb Colter as of today, Friday, May 6, 2016. WWE wishes them the best in all of their future endeavors."

Colter was best known as the manager of Jack Swagger, although in recent times he made his return to WWE during the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view into 2015, where he announced that the returning Alberto Del Rio would answer John Cena's Open Challenge for Cena's United States Championship, where Del Rio was victorious.

Their partnership was short-lived when Del Rio ended his association with Colter on the December 7 episode of WWE Raw.
