The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office has postponed a ruling on the cause of Chyna’s death. The former WWE Superstar was found dead in her Redondo Beach apartment aged 45.
There were no indications the death was a result of foul play, according to her manager. Police did not find recreational drugs although, several prescription bottles were found next to her bed with most of the content inside.
Anthony Anzaldo, the former manager of Chyna, has revealed in an interview with the New York Daily News that he was the one who found the late ex-WWE star dead in her home this past week. Anzaldo stated that they were still actually in the middle of filming the upcoming "The Reconstruction of Chyna" documentary, and that the cameras were actually rolling when he walked into Chyna's home to check on her, only to find that she had passed away. Below is what he had to say regarding that particular moment:
"Me walking in was shot. I would never show me finding her, but you might hear me."
Anzaldo further stated that Chyna was passionate regarding the documentary itself and always said that she wanted it to be both raw and truthful for all of her fans, which has led him to become comfortable with the decision to continue producing the documentary even though Chyna has now passed away. Below is what he had to say regarding this:
"She would not have had it any other way. Now we'll hopefully show the brain getting examined and what the doctor has to say about that. It will be done in a respectful way," he said. "She gave us the content she gave us...It's all for her fans."
