WWE had extensive plans to run with a Chris Jericho vs. Deam Ambrose feud for WrestleMania 32 according to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

The fund was nixed for a number of reasons such as AJ Styles being brought into the company and Ambrose being put into a feud was Lesnar. If Jericho vs. Ambrose went ahead, the plan possibly would have seen Jericho turn on Ambrose,playing off Jericho walking out on Ambrose and Roman Reigns at Night of Champions 2015.

WWE’s original plan for Ambrose vs. Lesnar at WrestleMania 32 had The Wyatt Family interfering.
