Following the 2016 WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony, Vince McMahon was interviewed by Jonathan Coachman and had the following to say regarding the ceremony itself:
"Notwithstanding WrestleMania, I always say that tonight is the most important night for me and the most fun filled night,” McMahon said. “I enjoy this night more than any other in our business. It’s an opportunity to give back, to recognize those who paved the way for so many of us, including me. It’s a very special night, a very emotional night."
The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano have officially signed "touring contracts" rather than developmental deals with WWE NXT. This means that while they will not be required to work out at the WWE Performance Center and won't be exclusively based in Orlando, Florida, they also will not be permitted to work any outside independent dates.
WWE Superstar Neville recently spoke with IGN.com regarding his ankle injury:
"So, I've broken my ankle in two spots. Fortunately, it was a relatively clean break so it's remained in position. The bone has remained in position. I don't require surgery. I will have to rest it though. It's a broken ankle. I can't put any weight on it. That's gonna be the case still for a few weeks to come. I've started trying out a little bit of rehab. I have a light bit of mobility, but it's very difficult. My ankle is damaged and it's just a game of patience. It's not something I'm used to. I'm generally a very active person and this is the first injury that's had me out for a long extended period. So, you know, I'm just not used to sitting around."
