There has been gossip going around lately that Vince McMahon and WWE officials are no longer as high on Braun Strowman as they were when he first made his debut in WWE.
As readers may recall, at one point they were reportedly planning on doing something big with Strowman at WrestleMania 32. There was a lot of talk that he was penciled in to have a high-profile match against a top Superstar such as Brock Lesnar or The Undertaker.
More recently, it appeared as though Strowman would be the most likely candidate to win the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, but now it appears as though they may not even book him to win that. While Strowman could still be considered one of the favorites to win, WWE officials have been talking about having someone else win the Battle Royal now.
One idea that had been discussed for a while was to have Strowman win the Andre Battle Royal and give him a good push leading up to a match against Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam. This may or may not be happening now.
