WWE Monday Night Raw - 03/28/16

Barclays Centre, Brooklyn, NY.

The Undertaker and Shane McMahon open Monday Night Raw

Michael Cole welcomes us to Raw, then The Undertaker's gong hits to open the show and he makes his way to the ring. The commentators hype up his match with Shane McMahon as Taker is on his way down the ramp. The fans chant his name when his music stops and he grabs a mic.

He says this WrestleMania will not be his last. The fans chant 'Yes!'. He says he's made it clear that the blood of Vince's son is on his hands, but Vince's blood may well be on his. He knows Shane will fight for his legacy until he draws his last breath. But, WrestleMania is his yard. Hell in a Cell is his house. At WrestleMania, Shane McMahon will Rest in Peace.

Shane's music hits just as Taker finishes speaking. Shane stands at the top of the ramp and says 'Hello' to Brooklyn. At Sunday, Taker and Shane are going to rip each other apart. Shane is fighting to win, and Taker is fighting not to lose. Taker may be Vince's instrument of destruction, but Shane is the instrument of change that's been needed for a very long time. After HIAC, whatever is left of his body will crawl it's way into the ring and hell will be left in the rear view mirror for all the WWE fans who deserve better because he will be in control of Raw. If he has to cement his legacy by destroying the Undertaker's then that's what he'll do.

Taker interrupts and says 'You need to watch your mouth, bitch boy'. Shane doesn't get to talk about his legacy. Shane starts walking down to the ring and stands in front of The Deadman. Shane says The Undertaker's legacy died 2 years ago at WrestleMania 30. The fans chant 'Suplex City'. Taker says Shane is just like his old man. From the very day that he was born, he's been his daddy's bitch.

Shane takes it to the Undertaker and starts punching him. Taker throws him over the top rope and they brawl outside the ring and throws him into the barricade not once but twice. Undertaker begins to take apart the announcers table. Shane tries to fight back but Taker isn't giving him a chance. Taker goes for the Last Ride but Shane jumps off. Shane then takes him out with the TV monitors and Taker is lying on the table. He hits him again with the monitor. Shane goes to the top rope and hits him with the elbow, smashing the table. The two men lie on the floor. Shane picks himself up and his music plays as the announcers recap what just happened. Shane walks to the back. Taker sits up suddenly and the music stops. Shane looks on worried and Taker stares at him, before putting his thumb to his throat to signify the end may be near for Shane O'Mac. The Undertaker's music plays as the first segment of the night ends.

When we come back from the break, the commentators recap what just happened between Shane and Taker.

Zack Ryder is in the ring ready for a match, he will be facing Chris Jericho.

Zack Ryder vs Chris Jericho

Just as the match is about to begin, AJ Styles' music hits. Jericho has made it clear that AJ won't be getting his 'Mania match. He says it sounds stupid that Jericho would rather miss WrestleMania than face him. AJ isn't going anywhere without his match and takes a seat at ringside.

The bell rings to start the match, Ryder nearly wins with a roll up but Jericho kicks out at 2. Jericho then takes control and uses JBL's hat to hit Ryder. Ryder gets back in the match with a missile dropkick before going for the Broski Boot. Jericho dodges it and goes for the Walls of Jericho before AJ starts chanting 'Y2 Jackass'. Ryder tries to roll him up but Jericho takes him out. This time, however, Ryder does get the roll up and pins Jericho 1-2-3!

Winner: Zack Ryder

Post match, Jericho lays out Ryder with a clothesline and goes mental at ringside. He pushes the camera and gets a mic. He calls Styles a stupid ass and tells him to be careful what he wished for - he has his match.

Styles should be careful, Jericho has won titles and spilled blood at 'Mania. He calls Styles a rookie. His first WrestleMania will also be his last.

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon Promo

Triple H's music hits and the WWE World Heavyweight Champion makes his way down to the ring in a suit, with the title on one arm and Stephanie McMahon on the other.

Steph tells everyone to stand up and show respect towards HHH. The fans aren't taking kindly to The Game. HHH starts talking and hypes his match with Reigns on Sunday night. The dream of every athlete is to be headlining Mania. Despite everyone dreaming about it, that's all it will ever be. HHH says how this Sunday will be his ninth World title match at Mania, and it's because he is obsessed with being WWE Champion. He says he is the most successful champion in history. He is the greatest WWE superstar in history.

Reigns has already lost this Sunday. He made it months ago. HHH's obssession means the end of Reigns' dream. At the end of WrestleMania, no matter what, Triple H will be champion.

Steph grabs the mic back. She says this Sunday isn't about ladder matches or street fights or anything, it's about Triple H and the World Heavyweight Title.

Reigns' music hits and he runs into the ring. HHH starts stomping on him but Reigns fights out before Triple H scurries away. Roman had a stare off with Stephanie but she left too. Steph and HHH walk to the back as Reigns stands in the ring. The fans were chanting 'Roman sucks' and booing loudly.

There's a recap from what just happened, and then we see HHH and Steph backstage. They're walking and talking but you can't hear they're saying.

The New Day are out now, and Kofi Kingston is going to be in singles action. They're getting a massive reaction from the crowd. Each one of them has a mic, and Woods says are here and say the official cereal for WrestleMania is BootyO's. Brock Lesnar's music hits and he comes down to the ring accompanied by Paul Heyman.

Heyman does his usual introduction. He says Lesnar is the 'Baddest beast'. His job tonight is to hype the fans that Mania is 6 days away. We will see a once ever fighter and once ever athlete at his prime. Not one member of the locker room can get to his level. But, there's always one exception and one fool. One lunatic. Ambrose wants to be the one to conquer the one in 22-1. Heyman gives Ambrose credit. He's smarter than anyone thinks. He thinks if he takes a UFC heavyweight champion out of his element he has a chance. He says the word 'weapon' but says that's politically incorrect. He doesn't care. Lesnar is fully prepared to give Ambrose the defining Mania moment of a lifetime when Lesnar takes every single one of the politically incorrent weapons and peforms a colinsockpiy in the middle of the ring.

This isn't a prediction, this a spoiler, he saym before he is interrupted by Ambrose.

Ambrose makes his way to the ring, dragging an empty wagon behind him. He begins to fill it with weapons such as crowbar, pipes, baseball bats and the toys he was given by Foley and Funk. Ambrose hasn't even looked at Lesnar in the ring. He makes his way to the back, carrying his wagon full of weapons behind him.
