WWE Monday Night Raw - 03/28/16
Barclays Centre, Brooklyn, NY.
The Undertaker and Shane McMahon open Monday Night Raw
Michael Cole welcomes us to Raw, then The Undertaker's gong hits to open the show and he makes his way to the ring. The commentators hype up his match with Shane McMahon as Taker is on his way down the ramp. The fans chant his name when his music stops and he grabs a mic.
He says this WrestleMania will not be his last. The fans chant 'Yes!'. He says he's made it clear that the blood of Vince's son is on his hands, but Vince's blood may well be on his. He knows Shane will fight for his legacy until he draws his last breath. But, WrestleMania is his yard. Hell in a Cell is his house. At WrestleMania, Shane McMahon will Rest in Peace.
Shane's music hits just as Taker finishes speaking. Shane stands at the top of the ramp and says 'Hello' to Brooklyn. At Sunday, Taker and Shane are going to rip each other apart. Shane is fighting to win, and Taker is fighting not to lose. Taker may be Vince's instrument of destruction, but Shane is the instrument of change that's been needed for a very long time. After HIAC, whatever is left of his body will crawl it's way into the ring and hell will be left in the rear view mirror for all the WWE fans who deserve better because he will be in control of Raw. If he has to cement his legacy by destroying the Undertaker's then that's what he'll do.
Taker interrupts and says 'You need to watch your mouth, bitch boy'. Shane doesn't get to talk about his legacy. Shane starts walking down to the ring and stands in front of The Deadman. Shane says The Undertaker's legacy died 2 years ago at WrestleMania 30. The fans chant 'Suplex City'. Taker says Shane is just like his old man. From the very day that he was born, he's been his daddy's bitch.
Shane takes it to the Undertaker and starts punching him. Taker throws him over the top rope and they brawl outside the ring and throws him into the barricade not once but twice. Undertaker begins to take apart the announcers table. Shane tries to fight back but Taker isn't giving him a chance. Taker goes for the Last Ride but Shane jumps off. Shane then takes him out with the TV monitors and Taker is lying on the table. He hits him again with the monitor. Shane goes to the top rope and hits him with the elbow, smashing the table. The two men lie on the floor. Shane picks himself up and his music plays as the announcers recap what just happened. Shane walks to the back. Taker sits up suddenly and the music stops. Shane looks on worried and Taker stares at him, before putting his thumb to his throat to signify the end may be near for Shane O'Mac. The Undertaker's music plays as the first segment of the night ends.
