Dave Meltzer has reported through the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE has apparently made contact with former TNA Wrestling stars Bobby Roode and Eric Young.
The word is that contact with the two was made through an intermediary; however, it is unknown exactly what was discussed. Furthermore, Meltzer's report states that WWE is apparently more interested in Young because they feel that he can portray any character that they need him to.
As previously reported, both Roode and Young requested and were recently granted their releases from their contracts with TNA Wrestling, and the two are now free agents. However, both men will still appear on TNA programming over the next few weeks, as the company had already taped future editions of Impact Wrestling.
