Hulk Hogan has been awarded a $115 MILLION judgment against GAWKER who published a 1 minute and 50 second clip from his sex tape online.
The WWE Hall of Famer, dressed in black including a black bandanna, cried when the verdict was announced. The six-person jury deliberated for nearly six hours.
Hogan had only intended to sue for $100 million, but the jury felt $115 million was more appropriate - - $55 million for economic injuries and $60 million for emotional distress.
Gawker says he is a public figure and its decision to publish was protected by the First Amendment. Hulk argued to the jury that he had no idea he was being filmed having sex with his friend's wife at their home in Florida back in 2007.
