The Miz won an upset victory of Dolph Ziggler on last night's WWE Raw because officials have plans for The Miz to be involved in a key match at WrestleMania 32.Â
It's unknown what the match will be but speculation points toward an Intercontinental Title match which will also involve Ziggler. It's expected the IC Title will be defended in a multi-person match.
Former WWE creative writer Andrew Goldstein was very critical of last night’s Raw, specifically how creative handled the Vince McMahon and the Undertaker-Shane storyline. Goldstein was upset that there was no explanation as to why The Undertaker is doing McMahon's dirty work. He tweeted:
Apart from initial surprise of Shane's return, rest of story has lacked logic/specifics. Basically its been like one, long Trump speech #RAW

Jesus @WWE you had one job: Explain why the f*ck the Undertaker would do Vince's bidding. Instead we got unimpactful melodrama. Fail. #RAW

Tonight’s WWE SmackDown and Main Event tapings take place from Atlanta, GA at the Philips Arena.
The only advertised television match for the show will be a rematch from last night’s Ra with Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch  to determine the #1 contender to Charlotte’s Divas Championship.
